about.

Nick Fore is a London-based script consultant / script editor affiliated with the British Film Institute. Throughout his career, he has written coverage on over 2,000 screenplays across all genres in both film and TV.
Whilst most other script consultant services simply repackage information in the beginner’s guidebooks, Nick provides feedback that educates writers on more advanced aspects of screenwriting. His process for giving notes is to identify the issue, explain why the problem exists, and provide a suggestion for how to improve it. With this, Nick equips screenwriters with both the solutions and the knowledge to move forward with their work.
Most recently, Nick has been developing a slate of projects with Brian Welsh (WHAT IT FEELS LIKE FOR A GIRL / BEATS) and is also working with BAFTA-winning writer/director Michael Pearce (BEAST / ECHO VALLEY) on his latest feature.
He’s also the co-writer of a feature-length animated film called PESTA, which is being produced by the Oscar-winning animation studio Mikrofilm.
Beyond his work as a script editor, Nick provides the knowledge behind StudioBinder’s educational content on screenwriting, crafting outlines for their video essays, which reach over 2 million YouTube subscribers weekly.
